TapTop Website
Point of sales and website for Blok Party's TapTop, the world's first interactive board game console. I coordinated with marketing, one other designer, engineers, and customer service to find how our service model fits customers' needs.

Before
I took the website to 8 test participants to evaluate how well it sang. Here was some feedback:
Plus +
-
The video was instant excitement for vast majority of participants, especially those with children
Minus -
-
Were really put off by the 3 Call to Action to subscribe in a row
-
Did not fully understand what the product could do, had to read the FAQ’s at the very end of the page
-
Were intrigued by the games, but wanted a section to view the catalogue
-
The state of refinement made the product seem like it was in its infancy and weren’t sure if certain effects were CGed
*”PlayTable” was rebranded into “TapTop”
After
We addressed the feedback by:
-
Eliminating the CTA to just 1 on top and 1 at the very end
-
Showing a scrolling list of games available
-
Adding real life photos from players’ Instagrams of them having fun with the console
-
Making the features speak loud and clear up front
